Meet Angela

Angela’s passion for physical therapy grew from a lifelong involvement in competitive sports and a fascination with movement and performance. After earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, she spent more than eight years treating orthopedic and vestibular conditions before returning home to the Yakima Valley.

Becoming a mother expanded Angela’s clinical interests into pelvic health. Her own experiences during pregnancy and postpartum gave her a deeper appreciation for the education, support, and rehabilitation women deserve during these stages of life.

PATIENT EXPERIENCE

Care that makes a difference.

Dr. Hauser Angela was my postpartum PT that helped me tremendously. I had 3 natural births. After 5 sessions my prolapses improved drastically. She is very knowledgeable and kind; she treated me as a whole, that’s why I had such good results. I highly recommend this place to every woman, especially. Yakima is blessed to finally have this unique practice, Vitality PT, that takes care of pelvic floor traumas in a serious manner, and so much more. Thank you for taking care of mamas.

ABOUT ANGELA

Care built around movement, recovery, and the life you want to return to.

Helping the whole body move better.

Angela Houser, PT, DPT, FAFS, has been practicing physical therapy since 2013, with extensive experience across women’s health, orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, and vestibular and concussion care.

A lifelong competitive athlete, Angela’s interest in movement and performance ultimately led her to physical therapy. After earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, she spent more than eight years treating orthopedic and vestibular conditions before returning to her hometown of Yakima.

After becoming a mother, Angela developed a deeper appreciation for the physical changes women experience during pregnancy and postpartum and recognized how underutilized pelvic health physical therapy was in her community. She pursued additional training to help women prepare for birth, recover postpartum, rebuild strength, and confidently return to exercise and sport.

Today, Angela combines her orthopedic experience, pelvic health training, and functional movement background to look at how the body works as a whole. Whether she is helping a new mom return to fitness, an athlete recover from injury, or a patient navigate vestibular symptoms, her goal is to create individualized care that helps patients understand their bodies and return to pain-free, confident movement.

Ready to get back to what you love?

Whether you’re returning to exercise after having a baby, recovering from an injury, or working toward pain-free movement, Angela will help you build a plan to move forward with confidence.
