Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. You do not need a referral to schedule an appointment with us. You can reach out directly whenever you’re ready, and we’ll help you determine the best place to start.
-
Your first visit is all about getting to know you. Your physical therapist will take time to understand your concerns, health history, goals, and what you’d like to get back to doing. From there, we’ll complete an individualized assessment and work together to create a treatment plan that fits your needs and goals.
-
Wear something you feel comfortable moving in. Depending on what we’re assessing, your physical therapist may ask you to perform different movements or exercises, so clothing that allows you to move freely is best.
-
You don’t have to figure that out on your own. Many concerns overlap, and our physical therapists look at the whole picture—not just one area of the body. If you’re unsure where to start, reach out or schedule a discovery call and we’ll help guide you toward the care that best fits your needs.
-
Yes! You can absolutely attend your appointment while you’re on your period. Your treatment can be adjusted based on how you’re feeling and what you’re comfortable with that day. If you have any concerns, just let your physical therapist know.
-
Absolutely. We understand that childcare isn’t always available, and babies and children are welcome to come with you. We have toys available at the clinic, and we’ll do our best to make your visit comfortable for both you and your little one.
-
That’s okay—you don’t need to know exactly what kind of care you need before reaching out. Physical therapy can help with a wide range of concerns that people may not immediately associate with PT. Contact us and we’ll be happy to answer your questions and help you determine whether Vitality may be a good place to start.
